1. What we collect
When you create an account or post a trade request we collect the information you provide (name, email, company, cargo description, port, timeline). Verified agents additionally submit CAC, NCS license, and identity documents required for verification. We also collect basic technical logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) to keep the platform secure.
2. How we use it
We use your information to operate the marketplace: routing requests to eligible agents, showing structured bids, funding escrow, sending notifications, and resolving disputes. We do not sell personal data.
3. Sharing
Agents only see the structured request details relevant to bidding. Contact details remain private until you award a bid and fund escrow. We share limited information with vetted subprocessors (hosting, payments, email) strictly to deliver the service.
4. Security
Access to sensitive data is protected by authentication and row-level access controls. Financial state changes flow through audited server functions rather than direct database writes.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@clearport.ng.
